A Reflection of Faith

I believe that the SDA belief is the correct one because Saturday should be a day of rest as God intended. When God created the world, he put aside the seventh day to rest and now we can rest on Saturday and give thanks to him that we can rest.

I think that a lot of the rest of the world go to church on Sunday because of Easter Sunday. Easter Sunday was supposedly the day when Jesus was resurrected after his crucifixion. This was a miracle and so people just thought to worship on Sundays.

Many ways we can draw people to our church and have them believe in our faith is to spread the word more of why we worship on Saturday and why we keep that day holy instead of Sundays. If we can get them to see that Saturday should be a day of rest and a day where you can spend with God, I think that would help people understand and possibly draw more people to the SDA faith.

Andrew Bae (16) is a sophmore at Temple City High School.

THANK YOU to the Choi family for inviting the youth over for dinner last Saturday!! It was a great time to get to know the different members of our youth, worship, and play games!

If you noticed last Saturday, the youth all dressed up for worship. They have made a conscientious decision to show their best to God by wearing their Saturday best! Let's keep this attitude in mind this week and show God that we Love Him every day that ends with the letter "y" and try to keep a spirit filled mind!
